Permitted uses
- Personal listening. You may stream and download any individual song or the full album for your own personal, non-commercial enjoyment on any device you own.

MP3s with friends and family so long as (a) the files are not
modified, (b) the accompanying
LICENSE.txtis included when sharing the album ZIP, and (c) no money changes hands. - Quoting lyrics. Brief lyrical quotations for non-commercial, critical, or devotional use are welcome with attribution to “Child of the King” and a link back to childofthekingmusic.net.
Uses requiring written permission
- Any commercial use. This includes use in products, services, events, advertisements, or anywhere the use of the music is connected to revenue.
- Public performance using these recordings. Playing the recorded songs in a venue, church service, radio show, podcast, YouTube video, TikTok, Reels, or any other broadcast or public setting — as opposed to someone singing the song live themselves — requires a synchronization (“sync”) or master-use license.
- Derivative works. Remixes, covers posted for monetization, samples, mashups, or any reworking of the underlying compositions or recordings.
- Redistribution. Uploading the files to other websites, apps, streaming services, or sharing platforms for the public to download.
Written permission requests should include: your name, the specific song(s), the intended use (including audience size, platform, and whether commercial), and the duration of the use. I try to respond within a week.
How to request a license
Send a detailed request to child.of.the.king.composer@gmail.com with “License request” in the subject line. Many non-commercial ministry uses are granted at no cost; commercial uses are quoted on a case-by-case basis.

If you believe a site, platform, or user is infringing the copyright in these works, or if you wish to issue a DMCA notice concerning any content on childofthekingmusic.net, contact child.of.the.king.composer@gmail.com with a clear identification of the work, the location of the alleged infringement, your contact information, and a good-faith statement.
Trademark
“Child of the King” as a performing artist name is used in commerce by the artist. Use of the name in ways that suggest endorsement, affiliation, or sponsorship without permission is not authorized.

Notes on underlying rights
Registration with the U.S. Copyright Office and performing-rights organizations (ASCAP/BMI/SESAC, SoundExchange, the MLC) may be on file for some or all of these works. Copyright exists at the moment a work is fixed in tangible form; formal registration is used to pursue enforcement. Nothing on this page limits rights that exist by operation of law.
